On March 6th, 2019, JSLP visited the U.S. Capitol Building and had the unique opportunity to meet civil rights icon John Lewis in person for an hour and a half Q&A session. You can learn more about it here.
JSLP has had mutiple opportunities to meet with the Mayor of Rockville, and and several Montgomery County Members, throughout the years. JSLP members have been able to learn from these community leaders.
JSLP officers had the opportunity to meet with County Council member Will Jawando, and discuss important issues.
